Coffee Lab is working in-line with the 2025 Australian National Packaging Targets through the introduction of two sustainable laminate options. Compostable and recyclable laminates are durable and slightly flexible providing adequate protection from handling and oxygen for consistent quality.

Compostable Laminate

  • Marketable plant-based films
  • Available in multiple formats
  • Compostable degassing valve
  • Industrial composting facilities only

Recyclable Laminate

  • Marketable recyclable films
  • Available in multiple formats
  • Recyclable degassing valve
  • Recyclability determined by Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO)

Husk Compactor
and Pelletiser

The employment of second life innovation and renewable energy tech in the form of a husk compactor and pelletiser not only ensures cleanliness and hygiene it allows us to produce 100% pure coffee husk biofuel in the form of both briquettes and pellets and helps reduces the coffee carbon footprint a part of our sustainability objectives.
